Farms-first · Florists-first

We built Floropolis so buying flowers doesn't feel like a gamble.

Farm partners in Ecuador & Colombia — and soon the US and Mexico — delivered with a cold chain built for real timelines.

Why we built Floropolis

Floropolis didn't start as a "big idea." It started as a pattern we couldn't ignore: flowers that looked great on a list and showed up tired, swapped, or late — and the florist was the one left to explain it.

We built Floropolis to make sourcing feel predictable again. Fewer handoffs. Tighter cold chain. Farm partners we know by name — and whose standards show up in the stems.

If the flowers aren't right, the florist owns the moment. We built Floropolis to make that moment easier.

The promise

Better stems come from better systems — and better relationships.

Today: Ecuador & Colombia. Soon: partner farms shipping from the US and Mexico for faster turns and more seasonal flexibility.

Farm → Miami → your door in 48–72 hours

We don't try to be everything. We focus on the part that actually changes flower performance: handling, cold chain, and speed.

  1. Step 11
    Farm harvest & grading
Cut timing + strict selection so stems start strong.
  2. Step 22
    Hydration + cold rooms
Proper hydration and controlled temps protect vase life.
  3. Step 33
    Air freight
Fast lane to the US so flowers don't sit.
  4. Step 44
    Miami hub
Quick transfer, tight handling, clear tracking.
  5. Step 55
    48–72h to your door
Reliable delivery windows for real schedules.

Cold chain discipline is the difference between day‑3 stems and day‑6 stems.

Who we are

Two people with different backgrounds — floral and farm, then tech — who wanted to fix how flowers get from farm to florist. If you reach out, you'll talk to one of us.

Juan Javier

"Grew up on one of Ecuador's most successful rose farms."

Juan Javier's family owned and ran one of the largest and most successful rose farms in Ecuador. He was the commercial lead there for years and grew up in the business — he knows farms, varieties, cold chain, and what florists actually need when the box lands. That depth on the flower side is why Floropolis is built around real farm relationships and real accountability.

Facundo

"Farm kid from Argentina who spent 15+ years in big tech."

Facundo grew up on farms in Argentina, then spent over 15 years at companies like Google and Twitter — building large strategy and commercial teams with a strong emphasis on putting the client first and doing things well. He brings that mix to Floropolis: operational discipline, scale thinking, and a focus on making the experience for florists actually work. The tech and cross-industry experience is what helps us build systems that don't get in the way of the product.
